“3 Days Outside Your Body” was conceptualized around movement, dance and melody. The inception of this EP came about naturally while working on releasing my prior two projects of this year and being moved to fill out the balance more. As an artist known for his lyricism, I think at some point the general audience starts to confine a certain assertiveness with lyrics in our genre with a specific tempo and sound design, which I believe is very limiting.

The title was inspired by the biblical Christ’s disidentification with the body (a pun) while I listened to Jim Caviezel speak about his epic role over the Easter weekend. The cover art by Verde (who is more known for his work with Melanie Martinez, deem spencer and Mel Hines) was a labor that took a few months while seeking a way to make his abstract blob expressionism find literal meaning, a figure in awe of the Light, the ideal.
