2409 West Slauson
is an EP performed by Brooklyn-born, Los Angeles-based wordsmith Radamiz. The EP’s subject matter is inspired by the life and work of David Hammons, taking a specific focus on his initial rise to success with series “Body Prints”. Chicago’s very own Thelonious Martin crafts the entirety of the production on “2409 West Slauson”.
The EP’s title comes from the address of David Hammons first studio in Los Angeles after relocating from Springfield, Illinois where “Body Prints” was first conceptualized.
Radamiz leads the project bar after bar showcasing his newfound inspirations, looking for footing in a new city, burning off the dead wood and chiseling away excess while having a harmonious, fluid relationship between art and the raw life that now conceives it.
